Alexander Maaßen M.Sc. in Chiropractic 2016 | DIU Alumni Report
Through considerable persistence, alumnus Alexander Maaßen helped secure clarification from Germany’s highest administrative court: In principle, a German Heilpraktiker license may be restricted specifically to chiropractic. This gives alumni of the degree programs “Chiropractic (B.Sc.)” and “Chiropractic (M.Sc.)” a more clearly defined professional pathway.

The DIU-Alumni Community is not only an excellent platform for staying in touch with other alumni, but also an opportunity to actively collaborate on projects with the university—to further develop our institution and support our students.
Project Ideas: If you have your own idea, please feel free to reach out to us.
- Scholarships: Become a scholarship provider—either personally or through your company. There are various options available, such as the Germany Scholarship, merit-based scholarships, program-specific scholarships, or direct scholarships.
- Presentations at DIU Events: Give presentations at DIU networking events or DIU courses.
- Become a DIU Ambassador and spread the word about our excellence to the world.
- Sponsorship: You or your company can sponsor DIU events or other initiatives.
- Offer DIU students the opportunity to write project papers, practical papers, or theses (Bachelor’s, Master’s).
- Offer DIU students the opportunity to complete an internship with you.
- Offer DIU graduates job or entry-level opportunities.
