Study Engineering & Technology
Energy, Technology, Sustainability, and Digitalization
Lifelong learning is becoming increasingly essential in the natural sciences and engineering. With the rise of Industry 4.0 and the digital working world that followed, processes have become both more efficient and more complex. Tasks, systems, and workflows continue to evolve; the integration of cyber-physical systems into production processes and the use of the Internet of Things are already a reality in many companies.
Whether in the planning, production, or maintenance of technical products and processes, electronics, computing, and control engineering have become integral components of modern industry. Work 4.0 reflects a fundamental shift toward increasingly autonomous production systems. This transformation creates opportunities and challenges for medium-sized industrial companies, enterprises, and industry-related service providers alike. At the same time, it calls for new ways of designing safe and healthy working environments.
New forms of work also require new forms of prevention in occupational safety and health. Dresden International University prepares participants in its courses and degree programs in Engineering & Technology for the demands of the future — academically grounded, practice-oriented, and with a clear focus on relevance.
